what do you think clutchless shifting sounds like it might be?
on some cars you can do it, i don't know why and wouldnt recommend trying, because you wont get it every time to make it effective

I do it in my car. But there are only two reasons to do it. To show your friends how bad ass you are, or to get home when you lose your clutch hydraulics. If you add up all the time i lost the clutch hydraulics, I think I have driven my car for a total of about 3 months with no clutch. Its not easy, since you have to manually synchronize the gear you are shifting into, but it can be done smoothly and cleanly, it just requires a lot of attention. Dont worry about it, theres no real need for it unless your car is busted.

My ex g/f had an 88 mustang 4 banger 5 spd, that thing was sooo easy to shift with out the clutch, I did it all the time. Nothing like having a half decent tranny, unlike ours
