do i need an intercooler?
I just recently bought a 97 honda accord. Eventually i want to turbocharge it but i wanted to know if an intercooler is neccessary or can it do without?

You dont need it, but everyone will agree that it is certainly worth getting. Without it you will only be able to safely run a very small amount of boost, maybe 6 pounds. If money is tight you can always add it in later.

yea its not needed with low boost but its good to have and looks badass.

thanks for the help, but where can i find an intercooler kit for a 97 accord? i thought it would be easy to find one but i have had no luck so far.

you can use any intercooler. they aren't model specific like oil fitlers... You'll want to look at the room you have to mount it. whether you want a SMIC, or FMIC. some times it just takes a lot of cutting and not caring. hope it helps.
