complete revamp

after intense consideration...i have decided to keep my firebird as opposed to selling it to get an import <applause> "thank you, thank you" anyway...this is a 95 3.8 V6 auto. i want to drop the tranny and go to 5spd...eventually drop the engine and go to LT1, but thats way on down the line...is there anything besides the computer (and obviously labor to put it in) that i would have to change? and would i have to replace the computer or could i just get it reprogrammed?

If I were you, I'd just save that money so that the LT1 is in the "not so far away" future...

first of all dont be stupid if your going to race keep the auto trust me you will get better times secound of all yes your would have to replace all that even if u changed up the motor in most casses so dont chnge out the tranny unless your actually just lookin for the manual and sound because u will get off the the line faster but auto will always make u run better times change the gears that will increase your offthe line time and its easier
