Hi
I had that problem w/ my Nissan stanza, the problem was that I used after market lights (the blue ones) and the watts on the light was strong enough to melt one of my wires (the one that connects to the light bulb it self) when I shake the light wire it works. (due to the fact that the current is jumping the gap). So maybe the clip that connects to the light bulb is melted or just too old and it has a lot of resistance?

You can find that connecter part at you local car care shop. I bought a new one and replaced my lights to the stock ones and I was OK.

Something to think about.

Hopefully I’ve helped somewhat!
