I'm 90% sure I just sold my car

I'm sad, but it needed to go. I put it on autotrader last Friday night, a guy called Saturday, came up from Kentucky Sunday and just e-mailed me tonight and said he got his loan all set. I'm selling it without the Volks, because the guy didn't even know what Volks were.

He's picking it up Saturday the 18th, so I have one week left with my baby.

I'm gonna go cry now, I dont know if I'm doing the right thing or not, but I'm scared something else is going to brake on it and I'm tired of putting all my time and money in this car.

Now I just need to get rid of my TII and I will have tons of money to modify the WRX.

Awww. I feel the hurt. When my dad traded the MR2 for the 240 it was sad...because that was suppose to be my car..but now i got 240...SR20DET powered.. I WILL MY (SUPPOSE TO Be) MR2.

how much do you want to sell your volks for??? Also, why not sell your RX-7's since you got like 4-5 of em? I thought you loved your 240sx. Also how much did you manage to sell your car for?

same EXACT reason i got rid of mine.

i would say if you didn't have the wrx you would eventually get another one, but those wrx's just absolutely rock. you can't be unhappy with that thing.

me, i'll prolly sell this z beginning of next year and get another 240sx... sr and STICK. you cannot, i repeat cannot, find a better car or a car that's more fun for that amount of money.

haha sell that WRX while its still nice and new and put that money towards your 240sx.... Im not going to bullshit you, nissan build quality is much nicer then Subaru build quality. your wrx won't be as nice as your 240 is now when its the same age.

STriking while the iron is hot though, hope you sold that 240 at a premium since its really a sellers market right now for them.

you have no fucking clue, Subaru, is much better at this point in design and build quality on their stock vehicles than nissan has ever been and could ever dream to be. (excluding their infinity line)

My WRX is by far the best car Ive owned... 20+K miles in less than 10 months, problem free, all while out-handling, out-accelerating, and climbing through snow better than anything else out there.

You seriously need to go take a look at the Subaru line again.. I was a Skeptic, like you once too.. then i drove one!

think about it, i could choose to sell anyone of my cars... but i chose to sell the 240... what does that tell you?

I plan to sell my convertible RX-7 asap..

The TII will be for sale as soon as i put it back together...

with or without the VOLKS>.

so if you want the Volks i would consider selling as they are not being sold with the 240...

My cousin, Brian and I all went for a spin.

It was 85 degrees, which sucks for a turbo car, with the AC on full blast. Downshift to 3rd...daymn that thing pulled.

Wow that sounded like such a newbie post, but I cant articualte the awesome-ness of that car.

you've never driven in a wrx. i can tell.

it is completely awesome. this one dude i know has it up to stage 4 and it is DOPE. get that 240sx crap outta your head... no matter how good a modded 240 can get, it will NEVER be as good as a wrx. i hate to say it but it is very true.

you can take a 90 degree turn in a wrx going about 85. that is NUTS. it definately outhandles a 240.

it drives in snow. and don't say you don't need a sportscar to drive in snow... unless you live in the northeast or have any kind of harsh driving conditions you will not understand.

4wd.

it is really one of the few cars that can beat out a 240, no matter how modded or not it is.

dayna im sure you know all of this... wrx's rock. really the ONLY car i'd prefer over a 240. go drive one and get subie fever.

hey moron, I own(ed) the 240 because i liked it...
I'm not dissing it, or any other 240.. I am merely stating how the 240 isn't even in the same league as the WRX..

Have you driven one? (WRX?) if not, you have no right to speak up..

I think you are just disgruntled because you cannot afford one. I assure you, if you could, you would be on the same bandwagon as i am.

MOREOVER, why am I here, i would wager to say that i have and will continue to) contributed more to the 240 community on AF than you have, and you could only wish for one of your 240s to be as mechanically sound, or fast as the one I am opting to sell. If you guys have a problem with an ex-240 owner still posting and contributing to the forum speak up, and I will discontinue being in your presence.

but then again, who has won more WRC manufacturer's championships?

for the record, mitsu has only beat Subaru in manufactuer points once... in 8 (soon to be 9) years...

it's fairly certain that at least half of the posters on here don't have 240's. SR20DETPower doesn't. Dorikin doesn't. Mynismo doesn't. I don't (for now anyways). Dayna soon won't. this means jack-shit. this forum is to talk about the car, it's not some exclusive "owners-only" club. you can talk about the car in here as long as you love it. some aspire to own one, some have owned one and want another one, some have owned one and want something else, and some just plain don't own one for whatever reason. but they come here to talk about the car, that's the bottom line.
