Or just look up Hahn Race Craft or Star Turbos, they make kits for turboing the 420A.

you'll be fine as long as you don't drive like an idiot and get boost carzy. people blow motors, not turbos.
Hahn makes a good turbo for your car

youre better off not putting a turbo on the GS. It wouldnt be worth the money or the time as you think it would. The 420a engine turboed wont produce nearly as much HP as would say the 4g63t engine. But its your car and your money go for it if you want.

The 420a isnt at all that bad of and engine it can handle around 350 HP with stock internals and if you lower then compression ratio you can get alot of power out of the engine. Heres a link to some aftermarket parts for you GS

Yeah talon007 is right, there is no way that the 420a motor would handle that much HP... I recently put a turbo on my Eclipse RS expecting to blow the engine just to see how much it could actually hold up to, well i dynoed it right before i blew it and i was getting about 225WHP at 10psi of boost. i set the boost up to 15psi for shits and giggles and raced a buddy of mine that has a Mazda Miata that runs 14.9 at the track... come to say i beat him by a quarter panel in the 1/4 mile and blew the motor when i shifted into 5th to keep goin... so i would say the engine prolly cant hold more than about 245 to 260 HP. And now that i have rebuilt the engine and put new pistons, rods, bearings, longer headbolts, valves, spings, and cams in i can run 15 psi daily and the most i have ever boosted in a race was 21psi cause i am kinda afraid to go higher... but it is possible to put a turbo on a GS or RS but it would cost pretty much the same if not less to buy a GST or GSX. Its a lot of time and money spent to make it work out right without something goin wrong and I would have loved to have a 4g63 motor and wished that my car would have been a turbo... so my advice to you is sell your GS and buy a GST or GSX cause its a pain in the ass to convert it... let alone a lot of money, i spent about $4100 to make mine the way it is now and the only reason i did it is cause the car was left to me by my dad when he died, it was his car, otherwise i would have sold it and bought a turbo.

what exactly happened to engine when you say blew it?
did it split the pistons in 2 or something?

IF you are going to be pulling in all 4 gears and then expect to keep going in 5th, you better have that thing tuned perfectly, and then a little rich on top of it. Heat soak is bad. I will go out on a limb and say the power level you were at had little to do with the failure, and heat soak induced knock had everything to do with it. Even on my car, which is a pretty well setup car, I would never pull all the way into 5th gear. My engine would probably survive the knock unlike a motor that wasnt setup for turbo, but it would still make me cringe.

What happened is that the headgasket started to lift causing it to warp and eventually crack allowing antifeeze into 3 of the 4 cylinders which when mixed with oil is not a very good lubricant... that is why i think the piston rings fried causing blow by, then the timing belt jumped 2 teeth bending 4 of the intake valves and 2 of the exhaust valves... i was lucky that the guides werent damaged and on the other cylinder i ended up snaping the connecting rod and sending it through the oil pan... OUCH! yeah not a pretty sight!!

The only reason i went into 5th is because i was surprised that it didnt blow earlier in the race and i wanted to see how much it could handle... come to say i will never do that again cause i knew it was stupid but i wanted it to blow.
