toyota hilux

this is my new project.it`s gonna have a susp. lift among other things and will sit on huge yokohama tires.

Question How is that kit?

How is that kit? I've been wanting the Hi-Lux
Double Cab lift up kit.. Looks like a cool kit..

it's a good kit but watch out for the rear bed, they're usually warped. fun to build though, my only complaint is the male connector rims. all the other trucks have female, why not this one too?

it`s a nice kit.except for the already mentioned warped bed,but that has been fixed already. im using the huge tyres from the tamiya land cruiser sport option kit.

the ones on the cruiser are nice but the swampers that come with the hilux are a hair taller. the yokoahomas are wider though

The difference between male and females. The poly cap on the Hilux mounts on the axle instead of the wheel, so you can't use the accessory rims unless you convert them. Have you buillt any Japanese model kits? If so, you know what the poly cap is!

The Tamiya Wild Willys 2 1:32 motorized toy has some badass tires and rims. Those are the ones I used on my Hi-lux. It looked pretty cool in the end.
