Gsr swap

I just got my car h/b 91 from gettin a GSR swap the b17 one though. I pulls like crazy but the car rattles everywhere like the body does yet the motor runs smooth. I didnt expect to get a gocart or nascar type of ride feeling. What could be the problem or is it just like that. Vertex told me big motor small car but they also said they would put in the front mount for me. Will that solve it?

okay lets see if i got this strate....You have a hatch with a b17 in it and it shakes like a mofo (at idel or all the time??) and it doesnt have a front motor mount on it ???

K if that is right ....
one chek all the monts is it a kit or they use honda mounts if its honda mounts chek all the bushings in them and chek to see if they all in right (the mounts) and tight. If not fix it!!! eather get a mount kit or get new bushings in them and do it right.

I realy hope that your car didnt have the mounts cut out and then rewelded back in. If so the shakeing could be because the mounts wernt welded back in right and the motor is off causing it to shakeing.

hope that helps you a litte
and good luck on fixing the problem

Any mount kit will make your car rattle like a motherfucker... If you dont like it you can just sell the car to me for cheap since its "Defective" and rattles like crazy.

well if your using the hasport mounts they are still mounts so since the engine cant vibrate in the mounts becaues htey are so stiff, the whole car feels it, since the whole car shakes with the motor

that is one thing i noticed with my HCP mounts.. there was hardly any chassis vibration at all, but the engine was still very solid.. no movement on shifts.

I have the Hasport billet mounts and I have more vibration than stock but it is not that bad. When I first got the mounts they vibrated alot and they do a bit more when it is cold. Howeer, after a few months they got much better. You have to remember that you are going from mushy stock mounts to full polyurethane mounts.
