Unhappy Transmission Light, ASC Light, ABS Light all on at the same time

Hi, hope someone can help.

The car is 99' 528i SE Auto, and all three lights came on at the same time when I was driving the car, so I assume that the problem must be related. The Speedo, mpg dials also stopped working.

I've checked the automatic transmission fluid, and it is low, but I know that there is a proceedor to toping the resiviour up and I'm not sure what it is ?.

Any advice would be extremely welcome.

thanks in advance....

Check the fuses.

Hi. I am new to the forum. Just bought a 528 about 3 weeks ago and I am experiencing the same problem.

What was wrong with you car?

Your abs unit probably has an thermic fault and shuts down when hot. you can test it by heating/cooling the contoll unit (on the hydralic unit). You should take it too a BMW dealer to get it changed (need's programming)

Thank you so much.

I am dropping my car off today at the BMW dealer. I will post more when I get it diagnosed and fixed. From a phone conversatoin the BM dealer said it could be a wheel sensor and that it would be like 300 if that.

I was trying to have it fix oustise the dealer so I don't get screwed, but o well.......
