First car

I was thinking about getting a 94-99 mustang GT

as far as i know stangs are great cars(my dad has a base model,80k no problems ever)

Do you think this would be a good first car for a high school-er

au revoir

Re: First car

Sure. I wish I had mine in HS (sure would have beat walking, lol) Reliable, abundance of parts if something does go wrong, fun to drive....lots of reasons. I dont' see why a responsible person shouldn't have one that young. If you find a nice clean one you like, go for it!

If your thinking of getting a 94-99, then go with the 99.

Re: Re: Re: Re: First car

94-98s are different from the 99+

If you mean a 94-98, I had a v6 (new, 17 miles odd)for the second half of HS, and I loved it. I'd definately get a stang.

Just dont get a 97-98 model GT, all kinds of problems just after they rolled of the assembly line, not all but i'm pretty sure alot of them. 94-95 is 5.0L, 96- is 4.6L, you choose.

#2 So much for "The Camaro is out...", I found one which is tuned to handle the heat and its 1995 for 2.5K, its not my final decision though.
#3 Camaro is out, someone bought it before me.
#4 Found a 300ZX 1986 in good condition for 2400, will take it for a check up on thursday.
