both good ideas but id say b16 cause save up again then turbo woot. Its up to you and how much your willing to spend. Plus i bet you can do turbo for less then that so figure that in also.

well its actully my friends. He says he dont have that much money and if he got the b16 it'll stay stock for along time well it wont have any head work done that is. so what do you think would be faster 1/4m 89si w/i-h-e pistons&rods, camshaft and like 4-6lbs boost. or b16a1 and b16a2 w/i-h-e only.

Re: Re: up grades on crx si

i just bought a b16a2 for 200 bucks. engine only, no manifolds, no oilpan, and one exhaust valve has a chip in it, but it came with the flywheel, crank pulley, dizzy, and everything from the valve cover down to the bottom of the block.

200 needs a new valve. you now have to hunt every single other piece you need to make the swap work. good luck don't think you'll come out to much cheaper and you'll have a bigger headache.
