How can you tell the difference between a 305 and a 350?
I have an 86 IROC with suposed to be a 350 4-bolt main but when i purchaced a starter for it I had to buy a 305 starter. The numbers on the engine look like they have been sanded or filed down enough making them unreadable. Does anyone have any idea as to how to tell the difference? It would be extremly appricated.

whats the vin on the car ? Does it look like the motors been out.

The original motor was taken out and this one put in it's place. The motor looks like it might be an early 70's.

well , hopefully if they went through all that trouble they were smart enough not to put another 305 in there.

whats the diff between 305 and 350
its fairly easy...the 305 is awsome and the 350 is more awsome
