99 cavy engine swap

hey guys was wondering if the ecotec would fit as a swap on a 99 cavalier or would i have to change things?, cause im thinking about buying one when my engine hits about 100k its already at 84k

better off buying a 2002 or up cavy with the ecotec already in it...you have to change EVERYTHING for the swap, mounts, computer, wiring,etc...but if you want a challenge i say go for it!

yeahh i guess your right, i just dont wanna spend so much money on this car, considering the engine has 84k which isnt bad but still, i drive about 50 miles weekly.. theres some regular 2.2l engines on ebay going for like 200 with only 3k miles on it, maybe ill get that

no dude, stick w/ the 2.4L u have, or buy a new 2.4L, don't go w/ old 2.2's.

i dont have a 2.4l i WANT one instead of my 2.2l.. maybe ill just sell this car for whatever i can get and just buy a z24
