Question little question

hi everyone, i am 16 years old, about to get my lisence, and VERY interested in drag racing locally. i was just wondering if a tib would be a good car to enter. obviously, consittering my age i am a little short on cash , but, hey, whats a job for? anyways, im trying to stay under $17,000 for the car itself, but would like to have some money for mods too( hence the interest in a tib). i just want to know if this would be a good first racing car, and if i do getit, what kind of mods should i get( and i dont want it to look "rice") thx for all the help!!!
