Question Civic Type R

I've tried to search this forum to answer my question but I just couldnt find it........Is there a Civic Type R in the United States if not...is there gonna be one in 2004 or in the near future????

No...No....and probably not

The CTR is only available in......well, almost every frikken country but the US.
Closest you can get is buying a JDM engine/mods and convert a USDM.

Actually i just found out that they are in face makin a CTR in the US and its suppose to be availbable spring 2004 ...yippy

I read in Sport Compact Car that the Type-R was going to be released here in the US using the RSX Type-S engine in the Civic coupe body, not the Si body.

Well I think the rumors of an 04 CTR are just rumors at this point but if it's true it would be Thanx for the link/info
Not sure I'd want a coupe though.

GScivic7 - do you have any info on importing a CTR? I'd love to check it out, I'm not too sure whats involved?

i was just reading that the new si is going to b a 2.2liter that comes with some of the things a type r would but is still going to b the si

theres a pic on the front of this months importracer!
