i dont know what i was thinking but i was thinking if you turned an sl into a turbo you can do anything to it you could normally do to a vr-4 i always go to www.dynamicracing.com almost everyday. i really wanted a vr-4 as something to work on for years until its the ultimate beast machine (atleast to me) but with a sl how fast can you even make them? i dont know what to do!!!!! maybe i should wait a few months after im 16 or maybe when im 17 to get a vr-4. id do this so i know id have the money and crap. blah but if i cant ill still get a SL.

so how fast can you make a SL you think?

fastest NA SLs are around low 14's. fastest TT conversion SL's are in the 12's. I would wait till after high school until you get a VR-4. You like any other high school kid with a VR-4 will most likely crash it. I slid mine into a wall, but I was going slow and did barely any damage.

If I was you I would get a reliable car for high school, after you graduate get a VR4. And if you simply must have a 3000GT now, get a base or SL.
