Aux Fan Mod

For those of you who want to drop the temp at which the aux fan comes on this article will help you out!

My cherokee is 96 4.0l My aux fan only came on with the a/c, with the a/c off never came on. I replace the sensor in the thermostat housing but still the problem any other recomendation.

your the man, I'll do it tomorrow. I already have the 180 stat in but have the fan rigged to come on steady in the summer as soon as I fire it up. It doesn't over heat now, just runs a little hotter than I would like it to. rmendez, does you 96 get hot enough to make the fan come on?

best thing to do it just run an override switch. fan will run stock at 220 w/ switch off and on demand when you turn it on. I ran this on my 96 for a while, but the real reason I was running hotter was that my fan clutch was worn out. now w/ new fan clutch i never even need to use th override since the temps stay lower
