Question about turbo chargers

I have a question if you buy a turbo kit you can always upgrade the turbocharger, intercooler, BOV right ???

I think you can change the BOV im not too sure if u can change the turbocharger or intercooler tho.

yea you can upgrade it to anyuthing that will fit your housing but you have to tear the housing apart to do it. BOV are easy to replace so i hear from my guys, and intercoolers well yea if you want.

Yes, you can upgrade the turbo, intercooler, and BOV. The only problems you might run into are having to buy new piping, oil and or cooling lines, clearance issues, and possible custom flanges.

Water should not be able to enter the intercooler. In order for water to enter the intercooler it would need to go through the air filter, through any piping you have, into the compressor, through more piping, and then into the intercooler. The intercooler is sealed to the atmosphere, if it wasn't your system would leak boost. If by entering the intercooler, you mean passing through the core along with regular cooling air, water wont do any harm.

Ohh ok thanks i thought an intercooler was just a rectangle metal air sucking thing that doesnt have a filter.

looks like it works but im not spending that kind of money on a 460 that you have to wind up to 5000rpm im using a caddy 472 that doesnt have to wind up that high i dont want to buy a new motor every two years besides the 460 weighs 200lbs more than the 472 the 472 weighs 130lbs less than a 454 .good thought thanks for the info
