yow dubes,

My bro 1996 jdm integra 16, 16 valves Sohc auto aftermarket exhaust and intake. My problem is when moving off shifting up from 1st to second makes a cacking sound or shifting from reverse to drive. I changed bushing but no luck. It sound like gear or something.

Can anyone know or had similar problems?

not quite sure.

i don't even know the engine specs considering the teg over here hasn't had a single cam in it since the late 80's.

i'd consider taking it to a mechanic who works with JDM cars.

any reason why he has that motor in that car?

last...i may be wrong, but weren't the 2nd gens the last ones with the SOHC?

2nd gen is the 90-93 right? They had dohc and even the late 80's had a 1.6liter dohc ZC motor here.
