driver display question on 2003

Greetings, great board.

I have a 2003 LS. I understand the LT has MPG and other trip computer functionality on its driver display.

My question is can mine be upgraded to have this same functionality. This might be a stupid question, but I thought maybe it could be done reasonably.

Thanks!

Yea, good question.

I feel thats an option that SHOULD NOT have been left out of the LS model. This day and age, every vehicle should have a trip computer. Does it really cost GM more money or is it a sales gimmick to get us into an LT instead?

If the Display can be upgraded I'd love to know about it.

I have a feeling no one knows the answer, or they simply don't care... Guess we should have just bought an LT.

Have you tried going to a nearby dealer's service dept. and seeing if they can do anything?

Re: driver display question on 2003

Why buy it the way you want, when you can spend
twice as much to change it ! That's what I say.
