Installing a cd changer via FM modulator

I have a 96 infinity G20. It has cd and am/fm deck in the front and 2 clarion ampifiers in the trunk.

I was planning to install a cd changer (cd/mp3) in the trunck and connect via fm.

2 questions.

1. I assume I can connect into the antenna in truck - but the antenna
wire won't come off the antenna - perhaps it is wired in and not a jack
(I can't see).

2. How do I get power for my cd changer - it needs both switched and unswitched.
- each of the amps have a jack in it - but I don't know which
of the wires are power.
- the antenna has 2 jacks (not sure why) - a big one and a small one. - if you take of either of the jacks the antenna won't power up.
I suspect this would the best place to get the power - but
agian I don't know which of the wires are power.

The other alternative is to buy a new am/fm mp3 deck and replace my
existing deck. I assume I need to buy one with pre-outs since
I have the amplifiers in the trunk that I would continue to use.
Does the wire harness allow one to connect via the preouts?

thanks

OK, in the usual CD Changer fm modulator installs I have done, the Changer in the trunk, obviously, and a cable that runs to the front driver kick panel, where the box sits, from there, power and memory cables, and ground cable, and a cable that plugs in between where the antena cable plugs into the back of the head unit. (Not absolutely sure about G20, but I believe it has the goofy looking antena plug, so you might have to get an adapter.. and from there, it should be all set.

Oh, and power cable should be red, memory cable should be yellow, and ground is black. I would say splice the power cable (red) to the red power cable on the radio harness, then the yellow can go directly to the yellow memory cable on the back of the head unit harness. and ground to any metal screw near the box in the dash, preferebly metal screw on metal piece

No there is no special adapter for your radio except the basic harness from places like Metra #70-7550.

I personally would go the MP3 route and bypass the fact. amps but that's me. The jacks you are talking about are the ones you'd use for a changer. One is constant + so when you shut the car off, you have juice for it to run. The other is the switched input so it goes up. That antenna should unplug at the motor. There is usually a clip or screw that holds the cable there in place. If it doesn't unhook there, it will within about 4 feet from it. Trust me, they do not want do all that wiring if something were to fail when it was under warranty.
