Some where I read it as being listed at 15.5, although I doubt that. I would guestiamte mid to high 14's with a half way capable driver.

The S-5 TII has 200HP 200TQ (ballpark) and weighs about 2900 lbs. 15 second 1/4 sounds about right.

Add a full racing beat exhaust and you will gain close to 60HP. You now have a car that will run with brand new Mustang GT's in a straight line and clobber them in the turns. Your looking at a low 14 second car now.

Here is a short shopping list that will get you a high 12 second car for about $2000-$2200 in mods.

720cc Secondaries $150
S-AFC - $250
Profec-B - $400
K&N Intake - $150
Upgraded Fuel Pump - $180
Fuel Cut Defenser - $75
Racing Beat Exhaust - $800

Turn to boost up to about 12PSI and you have a high 12 second car with about 275 RWHP.

Yeah! LOL! They are getting to be very rare. There are a couple here in Florida for sale. One is supposed to be pretty cool its a Vert TII factory conversion and was used in a Mazda commercial with James Garner. They are asking a lot of money for it though.

Its supposted to be 14.5. Two sorces (for some reason it wont let me make links so just copy and paste).

http://rx7.voodoobox.net/infofaq/rx7specs.html

http://pages.infinit.net/ebedard/Frame.htm (click 2nd gen specs on right)

This is probably the best run they got out of it with a pro driver. I dont know though... im just speculating.

EDIT: never mind it made links on its own.
