Short shifters

I'm looking for a short shifter to the 1993 mr2 and i was curious if anyone knows which brand is the best for the mr2

My friends tell me that the B&n short shifters are the way to go but others tell me TRD since they are basically factory.

Does anyone have either one of these?
Now ive tried a B&n short shifter on my friends 240 sx and its rough as hell, sure the throw is definitely shorter but is real heavy

i want something that is a lil smoother , maybe something that shifts like the S2000.

Re: Short shifters

You want something that shifts like a S2000, then buy a hondah... if you want a good MR2 shifter look at the Twos R us shifter.. www.twosrus.com

Re: Short shifters

lol... you would think. But remember that the fastest Toyotas in the world hardly use any Toyota parts.

The Twos R Us shift kit for the Mk1 and MK2 are based on the TRD shifter. But improved and at a substantially reduced price.

I am not saying that the TRD shifter is bad. It is just way over priced.
The 1993+ shifter has a short throw like the TRD, but with the addition of the thicker RSe plate, and the JonO tab makes for an extreme short throw that is race proven. It also includes a aluminum ball that can be purchased powdercoated or naked.
I make the RSe SS/T Shifter. But I only sell to racers since they usually don't want a 2" stick.
