BMW stands for?

i jus found out today what BMW stands for, and i was just checkin if anyone else knew? because i thougth i was an idiot becasue didnt know.

Yeah, I know what it stands for, I also know a few other things BMW's get called, like BM-trouble-U.

To be honest, I don’t remember what it stands for. I do know the HAL is once character backward of IBM

I learned what BMW stood for after watching Finding Forrester. BTW, those Subaru Forresters with turbo and 5spd are pretty fun. Just thought I'd tie that in there.

I speak Afrikaans which is a derivative of several European languages(Dutch, German...) so sometimes when I type German, I get the certain things muddled up.....

Why not? I did the exact same thing in this thread, when I recalled the meaning of BMW wrong, then looked it up, deleted the old one, and put up a new post.

That's what the Edit/Delete is for.
