Im going to buy two Volfenhag ZX-4712 DVX subs at 1000 watts a piece. i need to know which size amp would be best for this. i also am debating on a bandpass or other enclosure,which would be best.

k, those subs can handle 500 watts a piece have each has 2 4ohm VC. You want an amp that can put out 500x2@2ohm or 1000x1@1ohm
either is pretty easy to find, I've heard good things about the Tsunami DB1100, it puts out 1100x1@1ohm which should suit your needs pretty well. The JBL BPX1100.1 also puts out 1100x1@1ohm. Either would work nicely
