t.t. vr4 motor into 2nd. gen?

a friend of mine is ordering a vr4 front clip from japan and wants to drop it into his 98 eclipse. he claims to have seen it done before. the question is, what all is needed? thanks

well you shouldnt need any things prior to put it on but i think your friend should get a professional to do it!

Wow

VR4 isnt that froma 3000gt? They will fit in there? Damn, i got a 96 GS im a newbie haha ive been lookin to do an engine swap but i cant seem to find ne thing...ne suggestions?

Yes, the twin turbo VR4 is a 3000GT, not to be confused with the single turbo Galant VR4. nytlife666 anyone here would suggest 4G63 (turbo eclipse) as the best engine swap. To get a v6 around 300ish horsepower isn't very smart since the 4cyl is lighter and only takes ~1500 bucks to get that much power or more.
