brake lights stay on and drain battery

ok, i made a bad no no. i got my car a few months ago. after a few times of messing with it... the battery just died on me. i recharged the battery, and it died again. to make a long story short, i put a new battery in, and then i realized that after testing the battery, and blah blah, that my brake lights were staying on no matter what. draining my battery.... so here i sit, and my negative is off the battery, and im using my girlfriend as a ride to my classes.....

i checked under the brake, and the brake light switch is fine, what could be doin that?

help... i need my car
