wtf?!damn car alarm!

ok a few months back i bought an 93 maxima se and today i went outside in the damn rain to put up my drivers door window so i simply reached through and pulled the lock button up and opened door and it set off the car alarm which i didnt even know it had....glad it has it in a way but i didnt get a clicker with keyless entry or car alarm buttons but anyways after about 2 or 3 minutes the alarm shut itself off. so is there anyway i can either disable the car alarm(make it so its worthless) or get a replacement clicker or would i have to take car somewhere and have an entire new alarm system put in and current one taken out and get clicker with the new system?

Well your car may have never had keyless??? Anyway, to arm the car, lock the doors with the driver's door open then close. Or, lock it with the key with all the doors closed. To disarm, simple unlock it with the key. If you do not want it at all, just unplug it. It is located beside the steering column with "Theft Module" printed right on it.
