performance resto on 240Z
Im gonna buy a Datsun 240Z within the next month from california or somewere that has a dry climate. Im gonna look for one that runs decent but will most likely get the engine rebuilt. I dont realy care if it need to be repainted because i will most likely do some custom body work on it such a new airdam. I want to know what do you guys recommened I do, I was thinking motorsport headers, motorsport exhaust,
I would like some help on a few items i dont know much about
Head swaps, i've heard of many people doing this but I would like to know how much hp is gained and which head should i use
Cams, what cam should i get , what else should i replace, how much Hp is gained
Gears/ LSD , should i change them? should i get one?
Anything else i should do?
How much money on insurance do you guys pay, the cars 30years old it cant be alot, right?
