Question Who makes the best looking/best quality altezza tail light????

I am in the market for a new pair of tail lights. I want the euro kind, with the silver background and the red dots. What company makes the best tail light (quality)??? And what companies make the best looking tail lights???

I have heard a lot of stories about people gettin moisture in their tail light, so i was wondering, cant i just take like some silicon calk and calk around all the seems of the tail light before installing it???? Thanks

you can caulk the taillight if you desire. it wont affect it's performance.

the older ones had a tendency for the red reflector to fall off after a few months of use. i heard the new ones dont do that anymore.

APC is the leader in rice, er, altezza tails.

It's not the manufacture's fault that the water gets in. It is caused by the stock gasket getting loose, or torn. Check the gasket, you may need a new one. I don't know if you can get this part at the dealer, but it's worth a try. I had water in my stock taillights after taking it off and putting it back on. Took it off one more time. Found where the gasket was missed aligned. Readjust the gasket, slapped the taillights back on and no more leaks.

Also I like the 98-2001 taillights best. I didn't dig the amber signals on my 95.

What I find interesting is now that everyone and their brother has altezza lights, saw a P/T cruiser the other day , I feel that the IS300 looks like crap with its stock ones! And now you have the Maxima and Altima with that style stock....man oh man, looks as if they are going to be around for a while....

Poor Toyota Altezza. Their lights got stolen before the car was even out...

No, I believe that the actual Toyota Altezza predated the recent US infatuation with those damn lights. Now the IS300 (US version Altezza) on the other hand is a different story.

Damn my ambiguity! Yeah, that's what I meant... The Altezza was out in both Asia and Europe way before it was a Lexus in N.A., right? (Well, it was a Lexus IS200 in England...)

In any case, I meant to limit my statement to the U.S. market. There goes my anglo-centrism again...

Okay, my car is like metallic grey or some people call it thunder gray. Do you think the garbon fiber altezza's would look nice. I have a mental picture right now and it looks sweet.
