DVD Audio

I have a 2003 Trailblazer EXT that I purchased in April with the optional DVD entertainment system. The audio can only be heard through the wireless headphones or through an external speaker pluged into the wired headphone jack. Is there a way I can route the DVD audio into the vehicle's speaker system? I understand that this option is available on newer vehicles, and would like to incorporate it into my vehicle.

I'm in the same shoes. Let me know if you find something and I'll do the same for you.

Looks like an FM modulator hooked up to the wired headphone jacks on the DVD player might be a simple way to do it. I'm going to give it a try (only $25). I'll post the results on here.
