Engine Codes...
I was wondering if anyone knew where to find the engine code on the block also I was wondering, in my 99 Honda EX I think it has a D16Y8 but I am not sure, I have done a junk load of work to it and I was going to have it taken to a friends shop to have a guy bore it out to 82mm with a 86mm stroke but I don't wanna go to deep and for this I need the engine code to double check on some specs for it... Anyone have any ideas??
Thanks |

yea the d16Y8 is the motor in your EX. the code is found just below the head, on the block to the right of where the tranny connects to the block. it is a small 2"x2" sqaure.
