Sheesh...I must be attrating all the bumbass' this week!!!

Before you make an idiot out of yourself, you should ask!

The van has a RC bored Throttle body, 4mm over http://www.pri-racing.com/pics/odyss...rottlebody.gif a PRI Racing Cold air intake, our own developed product....a Thermal R&D based 2.25 inch stainless exhaust. We'll be adding a turbo or supercharger in the next few months, and sending the tranny to LEVEL 10 for an upgrade along with the torque convertor.

http://www.pri-racing.com/odyintake.html Here are the intake pics. we also added some 18" Speedy ATIX5 wheels in gunmetal, with 225/45 ZR 18 Contisports. I will be replacing the H&R springs with lower, Tanabe sustec springs in the next few weekends as well.

Enjoy!

I too have an odyssey. I sometimes find that the tranny is slow to shift down a gear. For example, I was crusing at around 60mi/h and in the mirror i saw a car speeding up and trying to pass me. I didn't want to let him pass and so I stepped on the gas, however instead of more power, the rpm rises but no feeling of acceleration. Then a few seconds later it downshift but it's way too late. What could be done about it ? Would getting the Torque Converter from Level-ten solve the problem ?

Heh, first built up Chevy Astros w/v8s, then those Turbo Dodge vans, now fast ass Odysseys... Minivans are the ultimate sleepers :P

I like your van, its nice, clean, and fast from the sound of it... I really wanna see what happens if you turbo it... sounds interesting

Thanks guys.

LEVEL 10 should help alot with the problem.

another thing you can do, when I figure it out, is to disable the "timing retard" on the PCM that retards the timing just before a shift. if you notice, when the van shifts from gear to gear it's very smooth. what is happening is that the timing is retarded to lessen power, therefore smoother shifts.

It can be done! a GM at a Honda dealer I know had spoken to the Honda tech line about it...don't ask why and they said if you track it down in the service manual you can disable it.

I found the wired, pink and black, that need to be disabled. i'll get on it maybe next weekend...I have a baby coming any day now

p.s. something else you can do is to just put the car manually into a lower gear...or REALLY step on the gas hard! the van wasn't made to race...so it may need coaxing with a heavy foot from time to time
