My M/C has Michelins on it and I HATE them. The car rides like a log wagon and skips across the pavement (the back tires) on a rough road..like seems in the road. Also it will not MOVE on snow at all. It is helpless. I am wanting to get some new tread before winter but wandered what you all were using. My tires are still about 50% but I hate them so bad I am going to get new ones anyway.

I purchased my '96 Monte with Goodyear Eagle GA tires and have since replaced them with the same. They're rated for speed but I find my car rides excellent in all types of weather provided your driving appropriately and I've never been stuck in snow.

Re: 96 Monte Carlo What kind of tires should I buy?
I have had two sets of Goodyear Eagle HPs on my 96 and have found them to be an excellent performing tire and I like the look of them.
