200miles per tank??

The last two tanks of gas only gave me about 200 miles each. I wait till the light turns on before refilling each. Is this normal for stop and go traffic through the city? No freeway miles by the way.

I grab about 300 miles on a full tank with my Gsr.

I usually have to start thinking about filling up around 225 miles or so...I live in a city, and college town, so there are many many stop lights, ect...When I am on the highway I get at least 100 miles more to the tank. 200 miles is about right. You are most likely not empty, but under a 1/4 of a tank. So when you are on a hill, the low fuel light may come on...

how many miles can you guys run after the fuel light comes on???

I didn't drop to 200 miles per tank until I switched out my OEM 240 cc/min fuel injectors for a set of RC 310 cc/min injectors. Now I have trouble getting much over 200 miles per tank.. in spite of driving conditions or style.. still trying to crack that one.

Anyway, what mods have you done to your car? First things that come to mind to cause mileage drops are a dirty air filter, clogged fuel injectors, fouled spark plugs. Is your engine running erratically, esp. at idle? And has your mileage been slowly decreasing, or did it drop to 200 per tank rather abruptly?

hmmmm I got 250 this time around wtf is going on...oh well im due for a tune up anyway. Should fix the problem...cheers!!!

I have a 95 GSR when I first got it I was getting like 315+- 20 to 30 miles to a tank which included city and highway. The gsr is rated at 25 city and 31 highway but recently my car has gone down to about 265 to 300 a tank. I don't know why. What kind a plugs do you use? What ones do you recommend? Thanks
