new R/T owner?

Well,I have owned 2 of these lumbering gas hogs and have several buds who own them too.The only thing I have found to be quick about these trucks are stops between gas stations.I get my tires (255/55/R17) at the tire rack,$80 or so bucks a piece. The tires are the Kuhmo ECSTA,just as good as the stock Goodyears.
We have all had trans problems but they were covered by warranty in my case,I am still waiting to see if its gonna go again.
Here is a small list of cars that trounced all of our stock R/Ts.
nissan,altima 3.5l
dodge,intrepid 3.5l
nissan,maxima 3.5l
02 mustang GT 4.6l
acura TL
acura RSXs
any 97 and up V8 cam/firebird
pontiac GTP
F-350 powerstroke
So look foward to fustration without spending $$$$ to make this thing even somewhat fast.

sounds like someone can't drive

and someone expects a little too much out of their truck

'kota R/Ts are a low 15sec 1/4 mile truck stock, so mentioning losses to 14sec 1/4 miles cars seems pretty idiotic to me

nissan,altima 3.5l-slow
dodge,intrepid 3.5l-slow
nissan,maxima 3.5l-you will lose to
02 mustang GT 4.6l-lose
acura TL-Type S will beat ya
acura RSXs-depends on the driver, i've beat a few
any 97 and up V8 cam/firebird -no shit
pontiac GTP-HELLO!?
F-350 powerstroke-slow
