I just bought a 03 xterra XE-V6 and it seems like the rear axel is leaking. Is this simply overflow because it is brand new, or do you think it might be a major problem?

What's the location of the leak and what does it look like? Some are no big deal, others are warranty work.

Re: Brand new xterra question
It's not at all uncommon for the fill plug on the back of the diff to weep a tad. Run back to the dealer and have 'em fix it. When mine was doing it, they sent a guy under with a breaker bar to give it a crank right there and sent me on my way.
