DC sports rear lower tie bar

I have ordered a rear lower dc sports tie bar. I was wondering if this would be a problem with ground clearance?

I would install the air suspension after the bodykit & paint job.

Nope, clearance shouldn't be a problem. I have a lower rear tie bar with a similar design, and it even clears my 22mm Integra Type-R rear swaybar.

Just be forewarned that DC producs are more-less for looks and NOT performance. They can and will flex under pressure, I've seen this first hand with my own eyes with their strut braces at least. The tie bars although much shorter, but still same design, I'd don't see why they wouldn't react the same way.

I hope you know that bar is purely for accent purposes and has no structural gains.

Neuspeed, Skunk2, Cusco, Benen, Spoon.... Basically any bar with a pivot type design like the DC bar isn't going to help out any.

Interesting... Haven't had a problem sure... But I can guarantee and bet you that you haven't had any posative differance with it either than just looking pretty on there. DC is a waste of money IMO, and most will tell you that. If you think the DC lower tie bar will help you out any, then you're only kidding yourself. Look at the design of it and tell me how it's going to help you. I'm waiting...

After installing the dc sports strut bars there was a major difference in my handeling curves. Curves aint no thing to hang now. can go around a curve at a pretty good rate of speed without even using the brakes.

LMAO! It's funny because when I installed the first strut bar I had (DC similar bar) I didn't notice much difference. I DID notice a different when I got my first rear swaybar (6th gen Si 13mm swaybar). I had to ditch my old POS strut bar when I got my short ram intake due to clearance issues. I notice MORE difference when I took the bar off then when I originally put it on. It's all in the mind really with strut bars unless you have some exotic suspension set up. Then I got my Teins, and in that same week I got my current Neuspeed 4-point strut tower bar. It's WAY better than my old bar, but with the rear swaybar and my Teins I didn't notice ANY differance with the Neuspeed bar even though much better and about the best in design of any bars out there. Just some food for thought before you really go bragging about your over priced POS bars.

If you want a bar that will REALLY give you something to talk about and handle curves like no thang, I'd suggest you invest in a good quality rear swaybar. Makes a differenace between night and day and then some.
