Question keyless entry module

HI!

I just purchased a 2002 Suzuki Vitara (yesterday!) and I didn't know until we signed the paperwork that the keyless entry remote is missing. I found your forum and read this thread. I have located one on ebay that matches the numbers in my book. I would like to try to program it myself. I saw scroogemcduck's post about how to do it, but I can't figure out exactly what the module is among all the spaghetti of wire under the driver's side dash. Can anyone give me more detail on what this module looks like more specifically and where I can find it?

If I can't figure it out, does anyone know how much the dealers charge to program (I didn't buy it from a Suzuki dealer).

Thanks!

Brenda

that year has a different programming procedure than the older models.

Id go back to the dealer and have them give you the other fob. They should come with 2 and if they dont they should buy it for you. I work at a Suzuki dealer and we would do that.
