natcc99 pride and joy!!! (PIC)

Hello Everyone!!!
Welcome to my first post on automotiveforums.com

Some of you might know me from purehonda, and feel free to send out a shout to say hello!!!

Because this is a new community, allow me to introduce my pride and joy....my 1991 Honda Accord Coupe!!!!!

above if an OLD picture....quite "famous" because it's one of my favorite pictures and I always use it to show people my ride.

below is another old picture of my ride, but I still like it.

next I have the same shot as the one above, but a much newer picture. Notice the tinted front windows to complete the look?!?!? Everyone told me that I should tint the front windows...and after some time, I finally did it. Took me a few hours of work, but looks great!!!
And if you are wondering what is on my back window, that is a huge proud American Flag. It was rather large and was quite difficult to see through my mirror. Oh well...didn't matter to me because I wanted everyone to see the big red, white, and blue!!!

Here is a shot of my interior. Many of you from purehonda know this picture quite well!!
Since this picture was taken, I have a new headunit. I will post up those pictures soon.

This is just a fun picture....Do you remember the old Chevy Aids in the magazines and sometimes on TV?? They would have a shot of someone holding a picture frame and behind it is there car from a distance?!?!
This is the same idea. I had to lay on the ground in order to take this picture. It's too bad I didn't move more towards the left to make sure my car was centered. Oh well.
(and no...that picture is not photoshop edited)
Now...you have a better view of the American Flag!! See it???

(sorry for the poor scan quality of that picture. I don't know what happened...I will probably have to re-scan that picture)

Lastly, I have a shot of my ride next to my girlfriend's car.
It's a 1999 Infiniti G20. It's a nice car...very comfortable, the only draw back is that there is now power under the hood.
AWWWWWW notice that the couples have the same style rims?!?!?! How sweet!!!!!!

Anyways...let me know what you think.
Any comments or ideas?!?!?!

Feel free to introduce yourself...I want to met new friends
and also old friends from purehonda.

On to my new and updated soundsystem!!! I finally completed and finished the soundsystem upgrade!

SONY CDXM670 Headunit
SONY 10 disc cd changer
PIONEER speaker components (front)
PIONEER three way speakers (rear)
SONY XM404QX 4 channel Amplifier (powering the Pioneer speakers)
JL AUDIO CS-112R-WO subwoofer
200 watt / 2 channel Amplifier (powering the JL audio subwoofer)

Here, we have a picture of my old soundsystem. Notice my SMALL 8inch Bazooka Subwoofer?!?!?! It was good at the time, but times have changed and I needed an upgrade.
Also check out my Sony 4channel Amplifer that powers my four speakers inside the cabin and my Sony 10 disc CD changer.
In addition, you can also see my polish rear strut tower bar.
There is also two green neons inside my trunk, but you cannot see it because there is too much light out.

AWWWWWWWW on to the real stuff.
My brand new 12 inch JLAudio Subwoofer!!!!
Here is a compairison test to see the difference in size with my 12 vs. my 8 inch.

I was actually really lucky with this subwoofer because I did not have to customize the box. This was one whole unit, sub and box together and it measured 32.25 inches. My trunk between the wheel well is 32.50 inches. The fit was PERFECT!!!!!!!! In addition to that, this is a wedge designed box, thus, behind it, I still have room for my strut tower bar and my amplifer (which you saw in the other picture)

HERE YOU HAVE THE SOURCE!!
My brand new Sony Headunit!
And yes....that does say PUREHNDA....just to show my pride towards purehonda!!!

Here is a picture of the unit in the off and closed position

This is a shot of the unit in the on and closed position.
Text says "PUREHNDA" again...and all functions can be controled with the remote.

Lastly, this is a shot of my unit in the on and opened position.
Sorry for the picture quality, I think there was just toooooo much light and you can't see the details.
And of course, the text on the screen still says....yep, you guessed it...."purehnda"

Next we have some simple interior shots.
This is the unit in the opened position and the flash on the camera on.

LIGHTS OFF.....time for the fun to begin!!!!!
Here's the unit in the closed position and all my neons and indiglo gauges on. The unit displays several different grapfics and will make any night cruse enjoyable!!!
The first time I got the unit, I almost missed a light because I was too busy looking at my unit. hehehehehehe

Same idea as above but with the unit in the opened position to display all the usable buttons.

Re: natcc99 pride and joy!!! (PIC)

hey natcc99. my neon setup is pretty much identical to yours one in front (drivers & passenger side). got i spliced from the cig lighter. but anyway...i want the rear floor flooded with blue light as well. any suggestions as to where i can get the power from? im thinking the same place where i got the other neons. but im thinking i dont want to draw too much power from the same place, unless it can handle it.

thanks much!

Wow dude, maybe you shouldn't drive any more? Two accidents so close together is a pretty bad sign! =( Not saying it's your fault, but that's bad luck!
