What candy did you grow up with?

Like what candy did you get hooked on for the first time in your life? I grew up with Sugar-Babies and Oh Henry's.

Yep, Ms. Susan comes from a strange place indeed.

I grew up with Fun-Dip, gobstoppers and the classic rock candy.

Can't forget the wall candies either

Hmm woulda been stuff like, jaw breakers, gob stoppers plenty of chocolate bars, penny candy. But the best thing ever is candy paper I don't know if you can get it in North America but every time I had relatives come back from the Netherlands I usually end up getting about 10-15 packs of 50 even to this day I'm hooked.

Re: What candy did you grow up with?

At the State Fair (Texas), they sell fried snickers bars.... (snickers dipped in oil, then fried for 30 seconds...served on a plate that soon gets drowned in oil) and fried oreos, and fried ICECREAM. Dont you love Texas?
Funny how the generalization of Texas is just a bunch of cowboys/rednecks, and when i leave the city i seem to think so myself
