Question engine codes 32, 42

Hello,

I drive a Ply 96 Neon and was wondering if anyone here could help.

My engine light recently came on and following the directions on neons.org gave me errors 32 and 42 which are:

32 EGR system failure

42 Fuel pump relay control ckt, Auto shutdown relay control ckt, No ASD relay output voltage at PCM, Fuel level sending unit volts out of range, Fuel level unit No change over miles

I was wondering if these are expensive repairs or are they repairs that I can do myself?

Thanks very much for any help you can give me,
-
Wilson

Re: engine codes 32, 42

Some but not all pcms outputs are a negative feed. Check a wiring diagram like in Chilton’s to see if the pcm puts out + or - volts. My Dakota puts out - to control the relays.
