What year and kind of car has a 1.8 DOHC that will bolt into a 91 Honda Civic Si after a few mods?

the 1.8 DOHC engine comes out of a 1990-2000 integra. 90-91 is B18A and has 130hp but comes with cable tranny. 92-93 is B18B with 140hp and comes also with cable tranny. when u get to 94-95 it is no longer non-obd wireing like 90-93. 94-95 is obd-I and 96-2000 is obd-II.
All of these engies are B series so u would need a new set of engine mounts to accomadate your D series engine bay. The easiest swap would be the b18a, less wireing.

actually all 90-93 Are B18A's, its just the 90-91 is OBD0 and the 92-93 is OBDI. the 94-01 However is the B18B1. If you are wanting to swap one in, i would recommend the 90-91 OBD0 B18A, that way you wont have to deal with any wiring.

Ok so the years 90-93 Integra are the best to go with?? There is no other cars with this engine?? Would it be much more difficult to go with the B18B?? What else would I need besides mounts and linkages??

Thanks

yea 90-93 will work, but i think 90-91 will work better since its OBD0. The B18B would be ok, but you will have to wire it from OBDI to OBD0 or from OBD2 to OBDI, but then you would have to get the whole car wired for OBDI, if you went with an OBD2 motor. You would also have to get a cable tranny, since all B18B's come with hydrolic. You will just need the mounts and a new shift linkage otherwise. If you have any more ?'s, just ask.

www.hasport.com has the mounts. You might have to make your own custom shift linkage or look on www.ebay.com for all that stuff.

my advice.. get a 90-91 B18A1, swap a newer head on it, and you have more power. the 90-91's had shafty cams and a crappy flowing head.

they will fit once you take the dust caps off of your front knuckles. if you leave them on, you prolly will still be able to make the CV shafts fit, but you might get binding and you dont wanna kill the wheel bearings.
