Could you put the 1988 hood on a 1987 CRX SI?

I was just wondering if I could put the 1988 hood on the 1987 I am going to buy a new one and was just wondering if I could mod the hood a little so it could fit the 88 style hood?
and I still need quarter panals....
and help on the 2 q's would help alot

I dont know if it would look right around the grill/headlights. Why not try a front end conversion? It would be kinda cool if it would work.
