engine question

I found a car in my area that is for sale for dirt cheap and i want to get it but i can't really do anything with the car until i get an engine because the engine is screwed.

i know there is a lot of talk about the sr20det and other swaps on this board but i was wondering how much it would cost to get a factor N/A engine to just replace your completely blown ka24de engine. I don't really care if it is SOHC or DOHC. I really wouldn't care how many miles it had on it as long as it runs. I just want an engine that runs.

So if anyone knows a place around the southeast GA TN SC NC AL FL area where they sell new or used engines I would be appreciative.
Any websites would be helpful.
Price Ranges? for DOHC.... SOHC.

well it totally depends..the 89-90 model such as wut i own is the SOHC model as the 91-94 are DOHC...look on ebay, people do sell engines AND trannys from 350-1000..but u never know wut ur gonna get..im from long island n a crate motor around here for my SOHC is around $1600 im told..my guess...go to www.240sx.org and look at there buy/sell/trade posts or even general chat..if full of nissan enthusiaists who will gladly help u out..any more problems...hit me on Laxrob31 on AIM

You can check out www.woodfins.com . They're in Va so i'm not sure if that will be too far but they do have good prices and offer warrenties for there parts.
