Unhappy Blower Motor Went Out

Hey there, my blower motor went out a couple of weeks ago and I finally got around to replacing it today. I checked out the Haynes manual for instructions and went ahead and gave it a shot. However, the casing around the motor that I am supposed to pull out to get to the motor is jammed in between the heater core and the edge of the dashboard. The Hayne's Manual doesn't even show the edge of the dashboard in the diagrams so I am wondering if there is something I missing. If anyone has done this before or has any ideas of what I may be doing wrong please let me know.

Thanks,
Amanda

Re: Blower Motor Went Out

You should have got the repair manual from www.helminc.com - factory repair manuals

I can't remember exactly, but I think you must remove the evaporator in order to remove the blower motor. In which case the A/C refrigerant must discharged.
