i use amsoil. your supose to be able to go 100,000 miles on one oil change but change filters every 15,000. there are different grades of oil for specific uses. http://www.amsoil.com/ Thats what i use and you send a sample into the lab and they test your oil to see if it is dirty or if you can still use it. check it out

MOBIL 1 Fully Synthetic is the best for NEW CARS...and
for HIGH COMPRESSION HIGH REVVING NEW CARS get
Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic 0w-20 oil...
If you car has over 80,000 miles on it
Buy VALVOLINE MAX LIFE Oil, it comes in a red bottle,
I bought a toyota corolla, 1990, with 110,000 miles.
i changed the oil with valvoline max life every 4,000 miles...
and the engine after the second oil change i noticed
was much more quiet, and felt like it had alot better
compression and seals......

but mobil 1 syn. is the best racing oil...
I now own a 2003 Toyota Celica GTS 6-speed,
and i put mobil 1 0w-20 in it, i get better gas
mileage and more horsepower....
and tests show that a car ran with this oil showed
no wear even after 100,000 miles of use ran on a dyno-meter....

for an SER SPEC-V ....sorry
but for that car, it doesn't have a high redline,
and not much compression...just a huge 2.5 liter
engine that generates alot of torque...
i recommend mobil 1 fully synthetic 10w-30 because
that engine needs slightly thicker oil, but
dont go TOO THICK, you could damage your engine,
and you lose horsepower plus gas mileage

Whatever's on sale. Buy a name brand. Consumer Reports did a test on NY taxicabs, regular oil vs. synthetic, and found little or no difference between the two. Save your money to buy LEDs and pinstripes. These add horsepower.
