Question Lamborghini Engine Rebuild

Hi, i've heard rumours pertaining the need for an engine rebuild on all new Lamborghinis after a designated run in period. The details I heard were that the engine is removed and shipped back to Italy to be entirely rebuilt, then sent back and reinstalled. Is this true or is it that whoever told me this has their facts mixed up?

sorry, but that's one of the silliest rumours I've ever read! Maybe after a period of 10 years that would be justifiable!!
Probably if the car is heavily abused for a few years that would be the only way to fix it... but certainly not in normal conditions
