help finding an aftermarket part...

I have a 1998 Grand Caravan with about 80k miles on it. The wipers recently came on and would not turn off unless I disconnected the power to them (even with the key out of the ignition!).

I was told by two mechanics that this was the body switch - and that this part could only be ordered by the dealer for the car. Does anyone know of a place to buy this part without going through the dealer? They want over 800 dollars for this and I bristle at the thought of paying almost a grand to fix a wiper problem.

I have a 1996 with what appears to be the same problem. The multifunction switch checks out fine according to Haynes but the wiper motor seams to have a mind of its own. The component we seek was called the "body module" by my local Dodge service dept. I just completed the installation of a new motor and observe no change in operation. Let me know what you find and I'll do the same.
