why dont all 2 door blazers have the tire on the back?
i am thinking about buying a 2 door blazer. i have seen some 2 door blazers that do not have the tire on the back. why is that? do they all come with it back there and some people take it off? was there a model that didnt have it? i like the way it looks without the tire on the back.

Re: why dont all 2 door blazers have the tire on the back?
there are some 2 door blazer that can be gotten with or without i believemy 85 has the tire inside the passenger compartment, but my frinds 92 has a rack on the outside. if you do get one on the back it can be removed, but it will leave a few holes behind.

don't get one with the tailgate-mounted spare. it looks cool maybe, but as soon as hit something, the tailgate will bend in a v-shape and your back window will shatter, mine did this just over a week ago in an under 10 mph accident. and i was still moving too. where i'm from, windows run $250 with the wiper hole, tailgates are $200 from the junkyard, $395 from dealership, and the tire carriers are $350. my current location requires me to go to the dealership. damn, damn, damn....
